For this wednesdays and fridays with I invited Olga Pavlenko and Valeska Reckling.

Olga had already participated to my "carte blanche" in october. Our dialogue was then fresh and intense.

The reason for choosing them is quite instinctive. Though very distant in the choice of the medium and their way to work I found a certain common feeling in the perception of forms and colurs. For Olga it was green. For Valeska is colours. Forms are defined with with Olga, natural and human ones, for Valeska they are free and open.

Olga wished to share her present work in progress. And she sent me a video she was working on. Olga sent me also the following text.

"Quod arabice zephirum appellantur"

The title is taken from Leonardo Fibonacci travel notes, when he discovered the arab number "0".
The video collage is a reflection about the "image of the nature", especially the green:
. green like the green of the mountain, forest, field 
. green as a garden created and modified by the man 
. green as an image of the holy garden, "paradise" or the imagined world. 

Valeska is my sister. It is a completely different story. Valeska paints. When we were young girls we dreamt about life and there was a lots of creativity, art and love in our imagination. And it is not only imagination. It's true. I am happy to show Valeska's paintings and to let know people around me who is my sister. She is a wonderful special person.

For their participation I was in a perceptive mood. I got inspired by Olga's triangular shapes and the intense colours of Valeska. A very early morning sky, a mountain form-like of red pigment on a red carpet. An occasionally transitory red chair in my studio.
